Shopware plugin development: one custom plugin, no licence fees

One plugin, written for your process, instead of several paid extensions. You pay once, there are no licence fees, and the code becomes yours once it is paid for.

Shopware Extension Partner since 2017 · around 20 shops in our care in Germany, Austria and Switzerland · 29 client references · white-label Shopware development for agencies · team in Gliwice, Poland

When a custom Shopware plugin pays off

  • You pay for three plugins, and each one covers only part of what you need.
  • The off-the-shelf extension doesn’t fit your workflow, so your team works around it.
  • Plugins get in each other’s way, and every update ends in errors.

What a custom plugin gives you

Lower running costs

A one-off investment instead of several subscriptions.

Your plugin

No subscription and no dependence on a Store vendor. Code written for you is yours once paid for.

Fewer things to break

Fewer extensions mean fewer places where an update can go wrong.

What does a custom Shopware plugin cost?

A fixed price for the agreed scope, after analysis. The quote also shows what you pay today for the licences being replaced – so you can see straight away when the investment pays off.

We handle plugin updates in our care plans from €450 excl. VAT a month.

For agencies: we build plugins for your clients under NDA, in your repository and under your brand (white-label Shopware development).

Fixed price

A fixed price for a scope described in writing. No licence fees.

FAQ about Shopware plugin development

Who owns the code?

Code we write to order – for you or for your agency – becomes yours in full once it is paid for. Ready-made plugins from our catalogue and extensions from the Shopware Store come with a licence to use them; the rights stay with their author. The details are in our contract.

How long does it take to develop a Shopware plugin?

That depends on the scope, and the written quote gives you a delivery date. Plugins from our catalogue usually take 5–10 working days.

Shopware plugin or app – which one do I need?

Plugins run inside your Shopware installation and can change almost anything. Apps run outside the shop and also work in Shopware’s cloud editions. We recommend one or the other once we know your setup.

Who updates the plugin for a new Shopware version?

We do – in a care plan or as a separate job.

Do you take over a plugin built by another agency?

Yes, after a code review.

What if it’s a missing feature rather than licence costs?

Then [custom Shopware features](/shopware-agency/custom-features) is the right page: we build the feature your shop is missing.
