The key points in brief

  • Google Analytics only runs if you agree in the banner. Without your consent nothing is sent to Google.
  • We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
  • Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google.
  • We only use data from forms to handle your request.

Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a server operated by OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, in a data centre in the EU. When you visit a page, the server automatically stores technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, referrer, browser and operating system.

The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 14 days unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.

Contact and request forms

When you write to us through a form (contact, emergency, plugin audit), we process the details you provide, such as name, company, email address, shop URL and message. The data is stored in our content management system and forwarded to our team by email.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering general enquiries). We delete the data no later than one month after your request has been closed, unless it leads to an order or statutory retention obligations apply.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and the content of your message to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

WhatsApp

Our website contains a “Message us on WhatsApp” link. As long as you do not click it, nothing is sent to WhatsApp – we do not embed any scripts from WhatsApp or Meta.

If you click the link and write to us, WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Dublin) processes your phone number, your message and metadata. Data may also be transferred to the USA. WhatsApp is responsible for its own processing, and its privacy policy applies. We are responsible for the messages we receive from you. We only use them to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, please email us instead.

Cookie-free visitor statistics (Umami)

To see how often our pages are viewed, we use Umami. Umami runs on our own server, sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page viewed, referrer, browser, operating system, device type and country. Your IP address is not stored; to recognise visits it is only briefly hashed (pseudonymised) together with a regularly changing random value and then discarded. We cannot link this data to you, and it is not passed on to third parties.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in simple, data-minimising statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Web analytics with Google Analytics

If you click “Accept” in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and records which pages you view, how long you stay, where you come from, and your device, browser and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; they are only used to determine an approximate location and then discarded.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; for visitors from Germany also § 25(1) TDDDG). Google may transfer data to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We have disabled advertising features and data sharing for advertising purposes. The data is deleted after 14 months.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: at the bottom of every page under “Cookie settings”. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded.

Cookies and local storage

Without your consent we do not set any cookies that require consent. We store your choice from the banner in your browser’s local storage (gd-consent-v1) so that the banner does not appear on every page view (for visitors from Germany: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Technically necessary cookies are also set when logging in to the content management system (for our team only).

External links

Our pages contain links to external websites, for example to shops in our references. Data is only sent to the provider when you click such a link. The provider is responsible for its own data processing.

Recipients and transfers to third countries

Recipients of your data are our hosting provider OVH (servers in the EU) and Google as the provider of our email mailbox (Google Workspace, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), each on the basis of a data processing agreement. Requests from our forms and emails to contact@goodday4u.pl arrive in this mailbox.

A transfer to third countries, in particular the USA, is possible with Google (email, and Google Analytics only after your consent) and with WhatsApp (if you write to us there). Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses also apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). To exercise them, write to contact@goodday4u.pl.

Withdrawing consent: You can withdraw any consent you have given (e.g. for Google Analytics) at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR) – at the bottom of every page under “Cookie settings” or by email.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Polish authority responsible for us: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland, www.uodo.gov.pl – or the authority in the country where you live or work.

There is no automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR). We have not appointed a data protection officer, as there is no legal obligation to do so.

Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the padlock symbol and “https://” in the address bar.
