What does a Shopware 5 to 6 migration cost?

FAQ about Shopware 5 to 6 migration
Is Shopware 5 still safe to run?
Shopware 5 has had no security updates since July 2024. Every new vulnerability stays open, so we recommend planning the move now.
Isn’t the Shopware Migration Assistant enough?
It moves data such as products, customers and orders. Plugins, the theme and custom code from Shopware 5 don’t carry over – they have to be replaced or rebuilt for Shopware 6. We use the assistant where it fits and handle the rest, including redirects.
What happens to my Google rankings?
We record all old URLs, set up a checked 301 redirect for each one and watch Search Console after go-live.
Is the shop offline during the migration?
Only for the short switchover, usually at night or at the weekend.
What if our system is very unusual?
Access to the database, an export or an API is enough. We check this during the inventory.
Can we get rid of plugins in the process?
